Our App collects precise location data to automatically detect and record your trips. This includes:

• GPS Coordinates: We collect your device's GPS coordinates to track trip start and end locations, calculate distances, and map your routes.
• Location Timestamps: We record when you start and end trips to calculate trip duration.
• Route Information: We collect location points along your route to create trip maps and calculate accurate mileage.

Purpose: Location data is essential for the App's core functionality - automatically detecting trips, calculating mileage, and generating trip reports.

1.2 Trip Data

We collect and store information about your trips, including:

• Start and end locations (addresses or coordinates)
• Trip dates and times
• Distance traveled
• Trip classification (Business, Personal, or Unclassified)
• Parking receipts and notes
• Expense information

1.3 Receipt Images

If you choose to scan or upload parking receipts:

• We access your device's camera to scan receipts
• We may access your photo library to select receipt images
• Receipt images are stored locally on your device

1.4 Motion Activity Data

We use motion activity data from your device to distinguish between driving and walking, ensuring only actual vehicle trips are recorded.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• Trip Detection: Automatically detect when you start and end trips
• Mileage Calculation: Calculate accurate distances for your trips
• Report Generation: Generate PDF and CSV reports for tax deductions and reimbursement
• Expense Tracking: Organize parking receipts and expenses
• App Functionality: Provide core features like trip classification, work schedule filtering, and trip joining

3. Data Storage

Local Storage: All your trip data, location information, and receipts are stored locally on your device. We do not transmit this data to external servers.

UserDefaults: App preferences and settings are stored locally using iOS UserDefaults.

No Cloud Sync: Currently, we do not offer cloud synchronization. All data remains on your device.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. Your data remains private and stored only on your device.

Exception: If you choose to export reports (PDF, CSV, or receipts ZIP), you may share these files through email, AirDrop, or other sharing methods at your discretion.

5. Subscription Information

If you purchase a subscription through the App:

• Subscription transactions are processed by Apple through the App Store
• We do not collect or store your payment information
• Apple handles all payment processing and subscription management
• We only receive information about your subscription status (active, expired, etc.)

6. Permissions

The App requires the following permissions:

• Location Services: Required for automatic trip detection and mileage tracking
• Location Always: Required to detect trips even when the app is in the background
• Motion Activity: Used to distinguish between driving and walking
• Camera: Required to scan parking receipts
• Photo Library: Optional - allows you to select receipt images from your library

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data:

• All data is stored locally on your device using iOS secure storage
• No data is transmitted over the internet
• Your device's built-in security features protect your data

8. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access: You can view all your trip data within the App
• Delete: You can delete individual trips or all data through the App
• Export: You can export your data as PDF or CSV reports
• Control: You can disable location services or delete the App at any time

9. Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
